Cantomar Ocean Club is a private members community of 23 custom beachfront homes on the Pacific Coast of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The property slopes gently up from the ocean 85 vertical feet, giving every residence an unobstructed view of the Pacific and the sunset, with direct beach access below. Inverse Project is responsible for the complete development — architecture, planning, and interior design — from the individual residences to the shared amenities that define life at Cantomar. The homes are designed with the coastal environment in mind: deep overhangs protect from tropical sun and rain, local wood and stone are used throughout, and all finishes are selected for durability in a salt-air, high-humidity climate. Energy-efficient construction and well-insulated envelopes reduce the operational footprint of each home, while large openings draw in the ocean breeze and frame the Pacific horizon.

At the heart of the community is the Cantomar Ocean Club — three pools including a main pool, lap pool, and cocktail pool, a beachfront restaurant serving casual and fine dining, a beach bar, and direct beach access with water toys and equipment. A dedicated Club and Fitness building offers a welcome lounge, concierge and guest services, gym, sauna, and plunge pool. Pickleball courts complete the amenity offer. The gated entry rotunda and landscaped grounds create a sense of arrival and calm security, while a grand lawn at the centre of the property serves as common ground for play, entertainment, and informal gathering. The design is guided by the philosophy that the best communities emerge when architecture, landscape, and shared life are conceived together from the first line — not assembled in parts.
