Daniela Hammond LEED™ AP BD+C

 

Daniela is the co-founder of Inverse Project.

 

‍She was born in Germany where she received her Bachelor of Architecture from the  University of Technology, Arts and Sciences, Cologne.


She has 18 years of experience working on a range of project types that include Office Buildings, Office interiors, Universities, Residential and Museums.

Prior to Inverse, Daniela worked in two notable design firms in Los Angeles where she worked on projects of multiple scales and in various US and international locations. She was responsible for multiple aspects of the projects including design, construction documentation as well as LEED certifications. Most notably she was responsible for the Bio Engineering building at the University of Santa Barbara receiving a LEED Platinum certification.

Richard Hammond Architect Portrait

Richard Hammond A.I.A.

 

Richard is the co-founder of Inverse Project.

 

Richard, born in Zimbabwe, graduated from Wits Architecture School in Johannesburg, South Africa in 1997. Since this time he has worked in notable architecture offices in Cape Town, Los Angeles and Costa Rica gaining 20 years of Architecture and Interior Design experience with the projects, for which he was responsible for designing, receiving more than 40 design awards (10 AIA and 9 IIDA). He has project experience designing Residential, Workplace, Commercial Office, Hospitality, Event, Education and Museum projects. He has benefited by the experience gained working on projects on 5 Continents. In 2011 he received the ENR 20 under 40 California award for Exceptional Young Professionals. He is a licensed architect in the State of California and a member of the American Institute of Architects. 

 

Richard's work is diverse in scope, scale and typologies, however what is consistent is his desire to uncover the practical, unique and surprising solutions that are befitting the complexities and peculiarities of each and every project.

 

Prior to Inverse Project, Richard spent 13 years at Gensler and held the position of Gensler Principal and Regional Design Leader for Latin America overseeing the design work of 4 offices.  He also held the role of Firmwide Practice Leader for Arts & Culture.
